Hi there, and welcome! I'm Jennifer, a lifelong resident of the southern Adirondacks in New York. I'm a small town girl at heart, and I enjoy the slower pace and comfortable familiarity of being part of a community like ours.
I started blogging years ago out of a passion for sharing the blessings of home- from DIY projects to make our home cozier and more welcoming on a budget, to offering comfort on cold evenings with a home cooked meal. JenniMack is the final evolution of my love of blogging, and I'm glad you've found me!
About US
My husband and I have been connected for our whole lives. We grew up in the same small town and attended the same small school. My mother-in-law led a Brownie troop that I was a member of, and in high school my beautiful sister-in-law was in my graduating class. Yet somehow Ralph and I never got to know each other!
Ralph (or "Sergeant Mack") left the area to go to college and then served our country in the Army for 23 years, including multiple deployments after 9/11. He is a hero in every way. I became a nurse, wife and mom and thought I knew exactly where my life was going. Of course, what we expect when we are young is not always what we get.
In God's time, Ralph and I reconnected and quickly realized that our values and dreams meshed perfectly. We complement each other in every way and enjoy our time together so much. Now, in 2022, we are in our second year of marriage and we are so excited to watch our future together unfold in front of us.
