Totoro Sleep Shirts with Cricut

Hi guys.

I finished up some sleep tees today for my Bean. Her thirteenth birthday is coming up- officially a teenager!

These images won't need much introduction for anyone who grew up in our house. Miyazaki and his famous anime characters were a staple growing up and still a favorite. I found the SVG files from a seller on Etsy who seems to have closed up shop.

I have a helper any time I use my Cricut Maker or my printer. He loves the noise and the sight of the machines spitting things out.

I like to weed on the mat. Seems to work fine for me.

I own this Cricut brand heat press, but I find my ordinary iron just as easy to use. I cut up an inexpensive white pillowcase, and I use that between my vinyl on the transfer sheet and my iron. I confess I don't follow the instructions at all. So far my projects have held up just fine.

My little bean gave me that pleased smile when I delivered the finished stack to her. She says they're "so cute", and now I'm wondering what else I can make for her with the cut files.

Craft day is always a good day.
