What's In My Camera Bag

Hi guys.

I've been obsessed with trying to "capture" my family in photos for as long as I can remember. Such personalities. I know I drive them nuts with the cameras, but no one loves the details of a human like their momma. They are an endless source of pride and amazement.

There was a period of time when I put all of my hobbies on the back burner to make some big life changes for us, but recently I am loving all things hobby and craft again. I thought some other mommas might like to see what's in my camera bag. Favorite things, photography edition.

1. Coach Dempsey 40 tote 2. padded insert for camera body and lenses 3.padded laptop sleeve

The Dempsey tote is a great size, and even with my camera and lenses in there, I can still slide in my laptop for travel. Here is the convertible laptop I use and love. I highly recommend it. The fact that it has rose gold trim is a happy bonus.

1, Canon 7D Mark II camera body. 2. 50mm 1.8 STM lens currently in heavy use, but planning to upgrade to this 50 mm. 3.I have the older version of this speedlight, helpful in low light. 4. This lens for both landscape and portraiture.

There are a few other things you might want to consider tucking in your camera bag.

• lens cleaning wipes or cloths

• extra batteries

• battery charger

• transfer cable

• an umbrella and/or trash bag for unexpected rain

• notebook and pen for notes about location, etc.

Now if I could just get all the kids to sit still in one place so I could get some photos.
